On Mars!

Nice to see that first image – captured by the CMV20000 image sensor inside the rover’s engineering cameras. I can’t wait to see the full resolution pictures.
A great milestone for the entire team that developed this chip back at CMOSIS. Who could have thought at that time that this imager would ever end up on Martian surface? The initial application was quite different 😉

MPDI Sensors special issue on IISW 2019 finalized

I took the role of co-editor in-chief of a special issue of MDPI Sensors Journal on the IISW 2019. Fifteen of the best publications of IISW 20219 were invited for an extended paper. Thanks to the commitment of the authors and the work of our co-editors Johannes Solhusvik, Mike Guidash and Rihito Kuroda, it became an excellent collection of articles discussing how CIS technology is being advanced.
You can access the papers here. Enjoy them!
